Lesson's from KING KONG
"Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord
Psalms 34:11
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." Proverbs 9:10
There is a right and a wrong kind of fear. We as christians are to have the fear of the Lord. Some one said,"The man who fears the Lord has no need to fear anything else". We went to the movies to see "King Kong". In the movie,there was this girl that was so frightened by King Kong, she struggled to escape from him. She finally managed to break free and get away from him. Then as she was running, she encountered all these other various deadly creatures. They all wanted to devour her and she nearly got destroyed by them till King Kong arrived on the scene. He then began to battle with all of them. After a long hard stuggle fighting and waring with them all, he finally overcame and defeated them and saved her life. Exhausted, he walked away and then sat down. She then walked right up to him and placed herself into his big hand. She had learned that the one that she feared the most became her saviour! God is a lot like that. Most people run from him only to be devoured by the powers of satan not realizing that they need only submit themselves to "The King"who can protect them from the whiles of the Devil and all of his destructive forces. Remember, "The man that fears the Lord has no need to fear anything else"!
